The City invites its residents
to fill out an online survey
ROCKLAND – November
20th, 2006 – The City of Clarence-Rockland
invites its population to fill out a short survey on its program
preferences regarding the Recreational and Cultural Complex, which
is schedule to open in the summer of 2008.
As mentioned numerous times, this complex
will have a pool, a fitness room with inside track, an auditorium
with stage, a public/school library and other community spaces. The
City of Clarence-Rockland now wants to know what type of programming
the population expects.
As such, the municipality invites the population to fill out an
online survey on its website, www.clarence-rockland.com. People
without Internet services can get a paper copy of the survey at the
Rockland Town Hall or in the different public libraries. It
will also be possible to use the computers at the Bourget and Rockland
branches of the public library to complete this survey.
“The Recreational and Cultural Complex
is a community project and we want the involvement of its population. This
survey proves that we have the intent to listen to our residents all
through this process,” mentioned Thérèse Lefaivre, Director
of Community Services for the City of Clarence-Rockland.
