Message from the Campaign Co-Chair

The Clarence-Rockland Recreational and Cultural Complex adds another compelling reason to stay in our paradise.  We – rural and urban residents, our children, seniors, and young families – live here because we understand the many advantages to living outside of Ottawa.

We want a healthy environment, good neighbours, wholesome activities, and wish to be part of an involved and caring community.  In Clarence-Rockland, we all enjoy the forests and farms that surround us and the river that flows nearby.  That’s why a growing number of us choose to live here.

Together, each of us can be a contributing partner to the building of this Community Complex.  We need, and deserve, the kind of facilities that support our decision as a community to maintain wise and healthy lifestyle choices.

When completed, this multi-function Community Complex will represent the heart of our community and our common aspirations:  good health, opportunities to learn interesting things, and access to a gathering place for social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities.  It will stand as a centerpiece attraction to those young and old who make the decision to move to our welcoming community.
